Helene Abrams is chairperson and CEO of eprentise. Abrams is a world-renowned expert on Oracle EBS. She has been a frequent speaker at events and conferences for more than 20 years, authors a thought-leadership blog with articles pertinent to Oracle EBS users, and has published To Think That I Thought That My Business Would Grow, a whimsical eBook for business leaders.
Under her direction, eprentise has received many marketing awards including Best Exhibitor Marketing, Best Visionary, Best Show Stopper, and Best in Show at Oracle User Group Conferences and leadership awards in the community.
Abrams has also been a guest lecturer at University of Michigan Entrepreneur classes , University of Central Florida Excellence in Entrepreneur Program, and Rollins College’s Crummer Graduate School of Business.
Helene has the depth of knowledge, the technical expertise, the business acumen, and a range of experience in companies from start-ups to the Fortune 50. After executive positions at Oracle Corporation, Deloitte & Touché, and Ernst & Young, she has founded several companies on her own, participated as a Board member, executive vice president, interim CEO, and CTO of several companies and non-profit organizations, completed turn-arounds, and provided strategic advisory services to hundreds of companies. As Oracle’s first Applications consultant in 1988, Helene also has the technical and functional knowledge of how to align Oracle E-Business Suite with business strategies. Her forte is driving results through strong people skills and a focus on quality.
Throughout her career, Abrams has been committed to using information technology to produce significant results for each of her client companies at a low cost. Abrams received a patent for a Method for Database Consolidation and Database Separation (United States Patent 8,103,704). eprentise was also chosen as a “Cool Vendor” in the Cool Vendors in Master Data Management (MDM), 2011 report by Gartner, Inc. Abrams has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from Harvard University.
