Data Subset

eprentise Data Subset software allows testing teams and development teams to create fully functioning sets of data from Oracle’s E-Business Suite. A customer may define filtering rules based on any criteria to create a smaller set of data and use that data for tests on a single business process or on transactions of a certain type or with a specific status. eprentise uses the filter criteria to select a category of data and then generate the code automatically to pull all related data into the data subset and maintain the data integrity. Targeted data subsets speed up the testing process by reducing the need for a creating a clone of the entire database and reduce time and resource requirements for maintaining non-production environments.

Especially as EBS databases grow and have a large storage footprint, it is difficult to conduct comprehensive tests environments to apply patches, upgrade, test new development, add new modules, or change set-up parameters for all different test cycles.
