About the Company

Companies running Oracle E-Business Suite (OEBS) have particular Oracle-related challenges when they “upgrade” their business at a macro level and want their Oracle instance or instances to follow and support the new “release” of the business. OEBS’s strength is in running the business. The implementation of OEBS is a model of the business’ organization and processes. OEBS was not engineered to make it easy to change certain key aspects of the implementation — the model of the business — for a business “upgrade”.

In the course of implementing OEBS for many organizations, we would find that several years after going live, the business had changed substantially. The complexity of OEBS meant that customers had few options other than re-implementing if they wanted to keep their systems aligned with the business changes. We came up with the mantra of "finished, but not done" to describe the cycle of going live (being “finished”) and then having to go back several years later to re-implement (not done). A series of re-implementations is not only costly, it is unnecessary. eprentise software was architected from the ground up with the purpose of providing enterprise agility to organizations that rely on OEBS for their financials and day-to-day operations.

Helene Abrams eprentise® was founded by Helene Abrams. Helene has extensive entrepreneurial experience along with commercial software development experience. A well-known world leader and Subject Matter Expert on data, application, and process consolidation, Helene is credited with conceptualization and architecture of a pioneering software product for copying, filtering, merging, and changing data that has helped marquee organizations leverage the synergies of their existing software solutions. The product offerings of eprentise are the brainchild of Helene and the eprentise team has worked on this technology since 1998. Helene's technical knowledge and expertise along with her prior experience in development of similar technology solutions are pivotal in development of a solution that is projected by industry experts as the only full consolidation solution in the world. Helene is recognized as a visionary leader with demonstrated excellence in strategizing operations at the macro as well as micro level for driving the growth of technology start-ups and turning around the performance of organizations.

In Helene's prior company, Crystallize, she was responsible for directing the start-up and growth of the new organization and drove the growth of the company to a team of over 100, securing over $25mm in commercial, venture and private equity financing. She provided leadership in development of strategies and established tactical goals in the identification, acquisition and retention of Fortune 500 customers that included Sun Microsystems, GE, Honeywell, British Telecom, Intel and Cummins Power among others.

Helene's prior experience included executive level positions with Big 5 and technology companies including Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young and Oracle. She has a Masters degree from Harvard University and a Bachelors from the University of Michigan.
