The global mining company needed to change multiple regionalized charts of accounts to a new global chart of accounts structure in order to adopt a single, global chart of accounts.
Objectives included:
Changing over 30 different flexfield structures in different E-Business Suite instances in a timely manner
Implementing the change in instances configured with multi-language and multiple localizations
Retaining all historical transactions
Maintaining data integrity of the underlying data
